Ms. Borow Johnson launched R&R TV initially called Resort and Residence on November 6th 2009 on DirecTV and on Comcast in Detroit. Today R&R is distributed to close to 30 million homes through broadcast, cable and satellite and is also streamed live 24/7 on the web.
Ms. Borow-Johnson is a leader in communications, transactional businesses, new business development and the electronic media industries– from on air reporting and talk show hosting, to being a pioneer in interactive TV and broadband having rolled out the first two way digital cable system enhanced with interactivity where a consumer could order pizza with a click of their remote control. Ms. Borow-Johnson has been a leader in content based shopping, product placement and direct marketing campaigns for consumer goods— to building and running cable television niche networks, to producing infomercials, award winning documentaries and public service announcements as well as deploying new interactive technologies–, she brings unique skills and experiences in the media. She has been the President of a number of niche cable programming networks including Healthy Living Channel, Beauty and Fashion TV, Brands Shopping Network, Tomorrow’s Planet, Recovery Television Network and American Medical Television. She has also been a senior executive with two leading advertising agencies McCann Erickson and DMBB/Medicus. Has been the Chief Executive Officer &President of Thrive World Wide Inc [ formerly Boveran Diagnostics/Inc ] since August 2009. Since October 2007 Mr. Schenker has served as the COO and CFO for Global Warranty Group, LLC a third party administration and extended service contract company. From July 2006 to October 2007, Mr. Schenker served as Chief Financial Officer of Vein Associates of America, Inc. a publically listed company. From October 2005 to July 2006, he was the Chief Financial Officer of Kurent Holdings, Inc., a retail specialty coffee and tea company. From 2003 to 2005, he was Chief Financial Officer of Genio Group, Inc. a toy company listed on the OTC Bulletin Board. In 2002, he was the President, Chief Operating Officer of CDKnet.com, a public company, and a Director of CDKnet.com since May 1998. In addition from 1986 to 2001, while at Symbol Technologies, Inc., a bar code scanner and mobile data management systems and services company, he also served as the General Manager – Worldwide Education Marketing Division and prior to that as Senior Director of Finance for the North American Sales and Services Division.
