MDCE-Business Description
We are a Nevada incorporated medical services and technology company headquartered in Beijing, China. We are engaged principally in the business of i) opening and operating private healthcare services for children in China; ii) developing and maintaining online secure medical information systems used by hospitals and other healthcare institutions and; iii) selling pharmaceutical, nutraceutical and herbal products online and in our proposed private healthcare clinics.
Medical Care Technologies Inc., a development stage company, engages in operating private childrens health clinics in China. The company operates in three segments: Pediatric Clinics, Medical Management Software Systems, and Pharmaceutical and Nutraceutical Products.
The Pediatric Clinics segment provides medical services to children through operating private pediatric clinics in China. The Medical Management Software Systems segment develops and maintains secure medical management software systems that include Med-Suite, a secure software information platform for physicians and nurses in hospitals, nursing homes, and clinics; Tele-Health suite to communicate data between health care providers, and health care providers and patients; and CareBox-Mediated Tele-Health system that offers audio-visual communication between patients and healthcare personnel.
It also offers CareBox Design, which enables wireless upload of personal medical information from compatible medical and wellness monitoring devices; and CareBox Usage for healthcare providers to admit and assess patients, and create and revise individual healthcare plans.
The Pharmaceutical and Nutraceutical Products segment develops and sells pharmaceutical and nutraceutical products, including over-the-counter medicines, herbal products, personal care products, and family care products, as well as provides private label products. It provides its products to retail pharmacies, pharmaceutical companies, hospitals, physicians office practices, consumers, and industrial and food microbiology laboratories through its Medi-Clinics, Web site, and retail pharmacies, as well as through independent sales representatives in China. The company is headquartered in Beijing, the Peoples Republic of China.
MDCE Mission
Our main mission now is to open and operate private children’s health & wellness clinics throughout China. Concurrent with, and in addition to the clinics we operate, it is our plan to add to our bottom revenue line by offering affordable, standardized and secure software information systems to electronically connect healthcare providers, academic institutions, pharmaceutical and nutraceutical companies, alternative health companies and individual consumers with healthcare information, products and services in China. We aim to generate e-management revenues and nutraceutical and pharmaceutical product distribution revenues.

Products and Services
MedSuite Technology. This is a management information system enabling healthcare professionals to securely exchange patient information electronically such as charts providing them with greater efficiency and reduced costs.
Telehealth Suite. This product is focused on providing the consumer with services such as viewing x-rays and lab results, making appointments, reviewing and monitoring health records and history and general medical information. The Company plans to introduce add-on services and the first of which is a Continuous Glucose Monitoring application for diabetic patients.
MDCE’s Research & Development is focusing on:
mobile access by physicians to patients’ readings and records;
cellular transmissions of clients’ health status to caregivers and;
medication monitoring in a secured environment
A key advantage as a private healthcare company, the Company will be able to offer advertising and marketing of physician approved/recommended medical and wellness products within the secured portals clinical users and patients use to access the electronic medical information.
Market Development
Extensive Research & Development is underway for entry into China to establish a private Children’s health clinic in Beijing.
MDCE’s is planning as three-prong strategic entry into the China healthcare industry. The timing as an early entrant provides a first-mover advantage and secures the opportunity to establish a strong and firm footing in the lucrative market which to date is relatively untapped by other private foreign health organisations.
By focusing on the children and healthcare segments is a competitive advantage given the huge emphasis China places on the health and well-being of their children and on the next generation.
The second prong is that MDCE will set up a pharmacy modeled in the style of Hong Kong pharmacies, suited to the East Asian needs and tastes. The pharmacy as an extension of the children’s healthcare services is a huge business advantage and provides future opportunities for business development.
The third prong is to establish a call centre to provide health and wellness information to callers and customers. MDCE is in dialogue with several large call centre operations and will evaluate which company has the best fit. This compliments the base healthcare operation as a value-added service.
By securing a cross section of healthcare services – clinical, retail and communication – the company is positioned to be a leader in the private sector of China’s healthcare industry.

In January 2010, we signed an Asset Acquisition Agreement (“Asset Agreement”) with Great Union Corporation (“Great Union”). Great Union’s technologies associated with the development and maintenance of secure information systems which increase access to medical resources services, education and wellness, pharmaceutical and nutraceutical products.

Since February 2007, she has been a partner and CEO at Open Planet Enterprise Inc., a professional services firm in Toronto, Ontario that provides business advice, solutions, and management services to (i) China-based companies aiming to establish markets in North America and (ii) North America-based companies that want to market their businesses in China. Her professional profile crosses numerous industries including Information/Internet technologies. From 1995 to 2010, Madam Wu was a partner and CEO of GroupIT, a Canadian information technology firm that provides complete services in internet-intranet design, development of web databases and browser based applications, e-Business, and secure technology support to private, public and government sector clients in Canada.
Luis KUO – Chief Operating Officer
Mr. Kuo, an executive businessman, has over 11 years experience in transforming companies from start-ups, to reorganizations, to joint ventures across the IT and healthcare sectors. His practice spectrum spans general management, business development, and sales and marketing.
Since 2004, Mr. Kuo has held the role of VP Sales at iNTERFACEWARE Inc., a leading software solution company in healthcare integration technologies. He has successfully secured strong partnerships between iNTERFACEWARE, international companies and government healthcare agencies. Mr. Kuo has led the company through strategic growth and positioned it to become one of the most recognized developers of mid-size HL7 Integration Engines globally. Mr. Kuo was instrumental in iNTERFACEWARE’s Corp’s receiving the HL7 2005 Award of Excellent, and Best Healthcare Innovation Award of the Year for North America. Prior to this VP role, Mr. Kuo was Senior Recruiter for North America for Netsuite Inc., a leading vendor of cloud computing business management software applications. In this role, he was responsible for the organization’s senior executive staffing needs and was honored with a Significant Contributor Award for his invaluable contribution to the company.
Ping TAN – Director and Chief Marketing Officer
With two decades of experience in media and public relations services in the China market, Mr. Tan is based in Beijing, China. Since December, 2006, Mr. Tan is the Founder of, and has been the Chief Executive Officer of Beijing Sun Communication Advertising Agency, a company specializing in product promotions, press releases, television advertising, conference management and new product launches. Pharmaceutical clients include Johnson & Johnson Asia, Pfizer Inc., GlaxoSmithkline plc, and Janssen Pharmaceuticals Limited. Since May, 2006, Tan is also the Founder of, and has been the Chief Executive Officer of Beijing Sun Com Cultural Media Ltd., a media relations firm specializing in culture and arts. Prior to 2006, Tan was the Chief Executive Officer of China Star Digital Film Co., a company that engaged in the production and distribution of feature films, television programs and documentaries targeted at both Chinese and expatriate communities in Asia. In 1991, Tan received his Bachelor degree in Automation Design from Gansu University of Technology in Lanzhou, Gansu Province, China.
Sean LEE HEUNG – Director and Chief Technology Officer
Mr. Heung has 15+ years experience within the information technology industry in sales and marketing, channel development and program management. He has worked with client firms in the healthcare industry, specializing in software and infrastructure solutions for end users. Since April, 2007, Heung has been a Territory Manager with Arrow ECS-IBM Group, an information technology distributor specializing in providing solutions and services focused on data storage, data management, and protection of critical business information. From 1998 to 2007, Heung was an Account Executive with Agilysys KeyLink Systems Group, an enterprise computing solutions distributor. His responsibilities included helping customers resolve their IT needs, infrastructure optimization, storage and resource management. In 1995, Mr. Lee Heung received his BA Honors degree in Human Geography from Brock University in Ontario, Canada.
